My honest opinion:
MJ is by far away the Goat.

There are about ten others that can fill in right behind him in that conversation. I couldn't stand Bird but I would put him tn that class. He did things that were unbelievable.

It is hard to tell about the players in today's times due to the rule changes. Even marginally good players are scoring a lot of points.

How was there any excitement? It was pretty clear from the jump that Ohio State was going to run the whole thing. There are only a handful of teams that have the depth and talent to go that deep into a playoff run. They'll keep expanding it and watering down the regular season. It sucks, but those that share your opinion are definitely going to get what they want.
I really don't think you can say Blohio was a no-brainer all season. There were plenty of doubts going in to the playoff. I think there were doubts when they lost to Michigan.
I contend that the expanded playoff make more meaningful regular season games. It will definitely water down the playoffs though, there could be some rough first and second round games.

People didn't say "hello" as a greeting before the phone. . . and we could be saying "ahoy" instead of hello if Bell had his way.

"Hello" was a hot new slang at one point, no cap.
It's because when people were asked if they wanted to accept the call they would say "Hell no!" and then it shortened to "Hello" from there

The automated phvckers that call me everyday never say hello. They just want to make sure I have enough dental benefits. Extremely rude if you ask me.

The greatest football player of all time .....
View attachment 740796 "HE'S BLACK!!!" 🤯🤯🤯
My first response is Billy Sims was otherworldly and he played on some lousy teams.
My pick for the greatest football player is Lawrence Taylor Johnny Unitas. *my freakin spell check is killing me* I typed Johnny Unitas but it kept changing it to Lawrence Taylor who couldn't be my choice because he's not white. I really hate computers.

I'm gonna say "ahoy" when I answer the phone from here on out.

Yep....Us white folks have to stick together.

* I still can't believe my android let me post a positive message gif about a black football player earlier. My phone knows I'm racist.

I yelled at Bo-Linda (the new AI order taker) at the Bojangles drive thru earlier. "She" wouldn't stop yapping about adding additional items to my order.

The origins of "Good Bye" are also interesting. It comes from a Gaelic tradition. When a young male suitor was leaving the home of his betrothed, the girls father would send him off with a Gaelic phrase roughly translated GTFO. It was later shortened to the parting phrase we use today.

Do you really think Larry Bird is going to say anything different? Larry Bird's like,"Yeah, I'm the greatest." MJ is better athlete, but even as a Dr J fan I have to say that Bird was fundamentally the best in an era when everyone played fundamentally. Jordan started winning when the rules were changed. Dr J, Kareem, Bird, Dominique Wilkins, and Magic under the same rules would have averaged 50 a night.

MJ was an MVP candidate his rookie season. Try again.

And yes, I would expect someone who they were the GOAT not to say someone else in the GOAT.

MJ knows he is the GOAT. Gretzky knows he is the GOAT. They may not publicly say that, but they also don't claim anyone else was better than them.

And again literally everyone that played against MJ calls him the GOAT. There are players who played in multiple eras and played against MJ, Kobe, and LeBron, like Kevin Garnett. They say MJ was the best. That's good enough for me.
