The thread were Slice wishes the Yankees didn’t suck and YankeeVol provides false hope .

First game in person of the year (but apparently my pic is too big). I had to get that Jazz basketball jersey, even if he's hurt now

Since all my ballpark pics are too big, y'all get a picture of the much-discussed souvenir tiramisu helmet. Pretty good, probably not worth 12.50 but I'm keeping the helmet like I did with Dippin' Dots as a kid.

I guess I should keep going to Max Fried games since those are the ones we win

Sucks the Yankees are on the road when we plan to go up to NY.

However, they are playing in Toronto and @ the Mets. So 3 hours either direction.

Lol, yeah I go to some Mets games too because it's easier for my friends in other boroughs, but I dread that trip every time. Leaving is probably even worse unless I get lucky with the LIRR

I've only been to Citi Field once when I played in the military softball tournament, never for a game.

It's a good place to watch a game IMO, maybe better than Yankee Stadium but don't let Mets fans hear that. Not necessarily a must though, I think Truist Park for example is just as nice if not more so

Ah, Gwinnett County gubermint… During their most corrupt years, they wanted to disassociate from Atlanta and make it possible not to go to Atlanta for anything. Thankfully, their efforts to bring commercial passenger air travel to Briscoe field failed every time. Between criminal prosecutions and the populace bringing Charlotte Nash out of retirement, we achieved reputable government. But, I digress. In 2008, Gwinnutia completed construction on a minor league ballpark and lured the Braves AAA affiliate. In 2018, team management held a contest to rename the team. Almost everyone wanted to name the team, Buttons, after Button Gwinnett, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and former governor of Georgia. Team management balked and announced the new team name was Stripers, after the fish that’s native to coastal estuaries but introduced in nearby impounds. I’ve never been to a Stripers game and won’t go unless they rename the team Buttons.

Vols baseball satisfies my diamond itch, now. Would drive up to join TRM for a game in the future.
