Recruiting Football Talk VIII

One starting WR that was undersized and everyone complained about leaving his feet to catch the ball transferred while another starting WR medically retired after the season and still there are some who are more concerned with the room this season.

Worrying just to worry.
in fairness, the wr’s you mentioned got a significant amount more of playing time than the wr’s we will be relying on the most this year. If MM/Stayley are better than bru and squirrel, why didnt they see more snaps?

While their ceilings are much higher, it’s not uncommon for young guys to need more time to develop.

In this system it is important for the qb and receiver make the same read. If the receivers can not make the correct read then the ball gets picked of much of the time. Experience is key. Obviously MM was healthier than Squirrel or Bru, but that doesn't make up for his inexperience.
