President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Project 2025 doesn't advocate for merely "reforming" FEMA. Project 2025 calls for the abolishment of it, as well as putting a complete end of federal aid for states impacted by natural disasters. Judging by Trump's denial of aid to Arkansas, that evidently includes red states, as well.

That should go over great in Donald Trump's home state of Florida during hurricane season.

I don't think I would be opposed to getting rid of FEMA, it's a department that has been used beyond it's intended mission.

Did I?

Give it a go yourself, then.

Check the date on that. It's April 10th. The Trump administration ordered funds withheld. I know what the FEMA link says, but there were funds designated for just such a disaster which never made it to Arkansas. Why do you think Sarah Huckabee Sanders is publicly begging for help?

Maybe on DU or coming from MSNBC that statement is true, but not in reality. I used the left leaning fact checks to help you

That is pure semantics .... "moving it" not "dismantling it." It's the same thing, just described differently.

I have never heard of that fact check site but it is not listed among the most impartial or accurate. If it's your contention that there aren't any biased right wing fact checkers? That would be laughable.

He can't string together a single sentence. He bounces around like a teenager on a trampoline spewing words and not saying anything

Here are a few high points

1. Houthis have capitulated. (Huge win)
2. Big announcement coming by early next week. ( Big win forthcoming)
3. Canadian PM said Canada will never sell. Trump replied “never say never”
4. Trump indicated US will not continue with trade deficit with Canada.

And you apply this to Trump and not Obama.
I find the amount of "what-about-isms" on here, in effort to defend Trump, to be quite amusing. We were assured all last year that Trump would be something better than Obama or Biden; not more of the same .... but that is what you are implying with the use of so many parallel deflections.

That's what I am trying to get a handle on. But all I got in reply was bluefont sarcasm

This is dated April 5th:

Was that rescinded? Was more requested and denied? Was a specific type of federal disaster aid denied while other aid was approved. I am literally trying to follow the details instead of relying on your links.
