President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

There absolutely should be an express lane for such people. In fact there needs to be. Other cases that seem more "iffy" for whatever reason can bring about more scrutiny.
Ice is currently detaining citizens in their quest to rid the country of evil invaders. You really think they're going to implement an efficient fast lane?

Yes, and to our congressman. Apparently a birth certificate must be issued by the state he was born in.
There must be some alternative mechanism. The details of your case are unique but there have to be lots of people in a similar circumstance. Good luck to your son.

I said they "should", but there's a lot should to go around.

I don't really see the need for (to your observation) this manic high speed approach, particularly to apprehension. If you've got reasonable cause to bring in and check then do so. My observation was if a person literally can't string together 2 sentences worth of explanation for being here legally, much less present ANY kind of documentation to support that claim, they get to skip ahead in the line.

I really give a rats ass what you believe. My son was our 2nd child, her ob went for his one month vacation to the states and never returned. As she was due any moment the ships doctor obtained permission from the CO to allow her to birth on board the Coronado. He does have a certified copy of the ships log entry. Enough to get him into the Marine Corp but not enough to keep him from being deported according to magas. Or to vote.
I was born in Augsburg Germany in the 50's. My parents received a "report of birth" from the army. I was able to use that as a birth certificate all my life, except when I applied for SS. I had to have the actual birth certificate. So I had to write the US state dept of Vital Records and request a copy to be able to get SS. Not sure if this will help you, but it's worth a shot.

I got a lot of pushback on here last fall, when I pointed out how, despite their public opposition to Project 2025 and their repudiation of it, the 2024 Trump campaign was still employing and closely aligned with several of its architects.

Thus far, the Trump administration is following the Project 2025 playbook verbatim. The only major component not yet being pursued is an executive order imposing a complete federal abortion ban. Some of the other most controversial components, such as abolishing FEMA and denying federal aid to states hit with natural disasters, are well underway. Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas has been pleading with Trump for aid in the aftermath of a tornado outbreak, to no avail. She was Trump's second White House Press Secretary during his first term.

Yes, federal aid is available for Arkansas. Following severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding beginning on April 2, 2025, the state has received an emergency declaration for direct federal assistance. This includes funding for emergency protective measures, limited to 75% federal funding, under the public assistance program. Additionally, various federal programs offer assistance to individuals and families affected by disasters, including rental payments, grants for home repairs and essential items, and low-interest loans

Is there an appeal for additional aid or aid requested for other disasters? I ask because there are links both affirming aid is approved and aid is denied.

There's a lot in P2025 that needs to be discussed and possibly implemented like reforming FEMA. Other parts of P2025 are pure garbage.

I guess that never-Trumper, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, from the radically leftist, deep blue state of Arkansas is just making the whole thing up.

They weren't detained and it was a crappy search warrant issue which lead to innocent people getting caught in the middle of government incompetence, this is a bad example you're trying to use.
They were detained and their house trashed by shoddy police work. It's what happens when people feel they're worrying with quotas

There are quite a few other examples even on this board but the need to spoon feed posters who comment all the time is a waste imo. Of it matters then keep up

Thanks...it seems to be a situation where the prior tenets moved after the warrant was secured..not sure of the process to verify the tenets before a warrant but that would seems to be an opposition to the reason for a warrant and raid...tricky situation..
It's not tricky you need to verify before breaking in. It's shoddy police work because of overzealous enforcement. It's been happening elsewhere and will only get worse

It was crappy police work but not as a result of the push to remove illegals. They were investigating a human trafficking ring (which they eventually arrested) and a warrant was issued with out of date information, we see stories like this quite often. The family wasn't detained past the time it took for the search, you're trying to play this as if they were targeted and detained more than a couple hours due to their ethnicity. What happened to them could have happened to anyone because police are lazy.

"human trafficking" is the new catch-all charge. Usually used in prostitution busts to get public sympathy on their side.

You really think they bring Ice off its not about illegals?

I'd guess it was an ICE investigation but it's still a terrible example to use in backing up your allegation of citizens being detained by ICE. It's an example of shoddy police work that could have happened to anyone.

My fault. Thought this was a legit discussion about the topic. Carry on with your partisanship.

Project 2025 doesn't advocate for merely "reforming" FEMA. Project 2025 calls for the abolishment of it, as well as putting a complete end of federal aid for states impacted by natural disasters. Judging by Trump's denial of aid to Arkansas, that evidently includes red states, as well.

That should go over great in Donald Trump's home state of Florida during hurricane season.

I'm guessing there's a depressing amount of similar (if not nearly identical) cases strewn throughout this thread.

It is a legitimate discussion. You simply posted misinformation.
Did I?

Give it a go yourself, then.
