President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

At the Mojo think tank, we view addressing the size of government via actually cutting the budgets...
Patience grasshopper as this situation took decades to develop. Remove the ~20M (after the court battles), reduce the number of government employees (after the court battles), reduce government regulations (after the court battles) helps to put us toward that direction of budget cuts.

Not a damn thing that I saw from 2017-2019 gives me any hope any of this will actually happen with the budget....

Glad to see this being a priority versus the effort from what we elected out of office last November ...

From the article:

Kuwait has released an additional 10 American detainees, U.S. officials confirmed on Thursday, marking the second such release in as many months and bringing the total number of Americans freed during President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office to 47.

Calling it a “great day,” Franks also thanked the Trump administration for helping secure the detainees’ release.

“My clients are home today because of the personal diplomacy of Adam Boehler, who came to Kuwait to make the case for these Americans to our Kuwaiti friends,” Franks said in a statement. “Rather than reading Levinson with blinders on in search of excuses to continue leaving Americans behind, the Trump Administration has looked for reasons to bring Americans home.”

Why in the hell does Kuwait have any damn “American detainees”. Send them some pictures of the highway of death from 1991 and remind them of a debt they could never possibly hope to repay.

If they broke the law and there are legal issues that’s a different matter. I’m just taking the phrase “American detainees” at face value which is an admittedly stupid thing to do with social media in this day and age

I think a number were drug related charges and many thought they were setup by Kuwait officers.

I read the link it reads sketchy as hell on the confessions. Won’t try to parse further as all of the info likely needed to understand the situation isn’t there will just say glad they are coming home.

Warren Buffet.. yesterday:

“Trade should not be a weapon,” Buffett said. He also said that “trade could be an act of war.”

“The United States won. I mean, we have become an incredibly important country, starting from nothing 250 years ago, there’s nothing that anything like it,” Buffett said.

Buffett drew applause when he added: “(America) should do what we do best and they should do what they do best.”

Throughout the earnings release, the company warned that tariffs made its outlook uncertain. Berkshire released its quarterly report, where it said tariffs could have a negative impact on its growth.
Gee, so the growth of his company (which actually produces NOTHING on its' own) will be affected and he's calling the current policy flawed.

Sure couldn't see that coming.

You do know Buffett is a leftist doncha?
