Agree on the first sentence. The rest is nonsense.

This season is one of the best coaching jobs he’s done in his time here. Lost his top 5 hitters who all hit 20+ HRs, all 3 weekend SP + Combs, Kirby and still has this team 36-9 (13-8) and ranked 12th in the country.

Breakdown for rest of baseball season from my point of view.

We have to take 4 out of 6 from Auburn & Vanderbilt plus not lose the mid-week games. I don't have to much hope vs Arkansas at their place. Razorbacks are destroying the best team in the league this weekend in Fayetteville. Hopefully can get 1 win at Arkansas.

SEC tournament need to at least win one and make it to semifinals to remotely have a chance of being a top 8 seed Nationally. As if right now we are predicted as the #6 seed so can't have to many slip ups. Losing this series vs Auburn could actually hurt in long run.


I really don't mind if we host a Super Regional as long as we get to host a Regional. This team in my opinion makes it to a Super Regional then lose . Hopefully I'm wrong...

Lost 5 players to the draft with 20+ homeruns each and the whole weekend pitching staff from last season. Terrific job if we make a Super Regional this season..

With all respect VOLS give the starting time the umps gives the play ball signal . Should never have started with lightening in the area. Tony may have shouldn't have started Doyle but he and Anderson are adamant in not changing pitching rotation.

Ok my AI photo obsessed friends… the other half wants to make AI photos on iPad does anyone have suggestions? I don’t mind buying a cheap app if need be but I’d rather avoid a subscription. Free is best bc it’s just crappy AI he is looking to play with. And ahem copyright restrictions are getting overdone on some apps and programs.

Just use Bing "Co-pilot". It's free and is pretty good. . . unless you want an app specifically for image creation with a dedicated UI.

Luma AI is good. It's for video though. Dall-e is pretty popular

I thought 2023 was his best job. And of course, he’s the best coach in America, so his “worst” job is still going to be good.

But I’m talking about specific decisions he’s made. Not an overall record. The decision last night was dumb and will likely cost us a game. The decision to play Curley at 3B instead of 2B or DH last Friday in Baton Rouge was dumb…and cost us a game. What made it especially dumb was that he had finally figured out the infield solution that worked in prior games. Putting Curley at 2B and Bargo at 3B was the solution. So instead of sticking to the solution, he went back to that which didn’t work and it killed us. At the least, he should have put in a defensive replacement for Curley in the 9th. So now, after it cost us that series, he’s gone back to the solution that he abandoned for some reason.

And to your point, while I appreciate that he lost a ton of talent, this is still one of the three most talented rosters in America. Future MLB draftees all over the place. Hell, he’s got at least 5 freshmen who would have been drafted out of high school but chose to play at UT instead. Doyle, Phillips, Fisher, Kilen, and Curley will all be high draft picks this summer. Others will be drafted lower. This isn’t exactly the little engine that could.

We sound spoiled and entitled as a fanbase. Bet many gave up halfway through ‘23 when we were 5-10 in SEC play too. We have one of the youngest rosters in the conference and still have a GREAT chance to get back to Omaha

I’m sorry. This is stupid. It’s not raining. Baseball has always been rain or shine as long as there is no thunder and lightning. Yesterday at 6:30 it was raining. No lightning. Yesterday at 10 it was not raining nor lightning.

We need to get this game started even in rain.
