I'm not sure why this is shocking or how anyone could even compare the two cases in severity. But without Karmelo, there would be no Shiloh.

The best part is watching this play out in perfect stereotypical fashion. The guy whose kid got killed tried to do everything right, tried to placate the mob, and was repaid for his grace by being kicked out of the murderer's press conference, being endlessly harassed, and having people swatting his house.

We have trials to find guilt or innocence and to decide appropriate punishment if guilt is established. Neither you nor I know what details of the killing will be brought out in the trial so we don’t know what if any criminal culpability will be found or what punishment may be deemed appropriate. Saying someone deserves death is really jumping the gun.
