President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

I do appreciate you tossing out the 8T number. Is this part of the liberal game? Were you for him not giving relief for Covid or everyone fend for themselves? You seem to lack context in what you present.
Yes I was absolutely against the covid spending and the more he promised. Before that I was against his trillion dollar deficits. Now I'm against his increases in spending as well. Call me consistent

So you wanted businesses to fail and families to crumble. Not very compassionate. Something tells me you’d have the opposite view had he did just that. Maybe it’s your consistent anti-Trump stance.

No, I wanted them to operate as needed without govt intervention. Since when did it takes trillions of dollars in debt to be compassionate? My stance is smaller govt and less waste of stolen tax dollars. That's consistent

Hard to do if you’re told to shut down.

Difference in PT Red Line and Biden’s.

and 80 Teachers have committed 10% of their income in next year to fight the pull of funding..and doubtanyone feels sorry for them with a gazillion endowment, but hey watch the Dems make a big stink about it and pull the rabbit out of the hat,

Like by Trump and those he put in charge

If i disagree with the lock downs I'm sure not going to agree with massive govt spending of tax dollars to bail the govt out of its bad decisions. There are consequences to bad choices

‘Have you posted anything negative about our country on social media? Tourists now interrogated at US border to confirm they’re pro-Trump

"Papers, NOW!"

The last boats without crippling tariffs from China are arriving now.

What are you going to talk about a month from now when product shortages drive up prices for American consumers?

Will you actually hold Donald Trump's chaotic trade policy responsible for rising inflation, or will your cultish devotion to Donald Trump only allow you to believe that every miscalculation Trump makes is somehow the fault of Joe Biden?
B.

A. requires dignity

He didn’t put Fauci in charge, but you knew that. Man made virus released during an election year that rapidly causes the world to alter and you’re saying best of luck. Again, had he kept it open - which left up to the states and we see which ones thrived and which ones didn’t. Something tell me you’d be slobbing over not putting more restrictions.

I was posting here during Covid. Iirc @utvolpj was against lockdowns and restrictions unless I'm mistaken but don't let that slow your roll.

He handed Fauci the mic and gave him national TV time behind the Presidential seal. He may not have hired him but he gave him control of the white house response. Trump was in favor of lockdowns and I don't remember him saying how wrong he was

My responses about restrictions are on this board if you're interested in being 100% wrong

Donald Trump wants to rename Veteran's Day as "Victory Day For World War I."

That is a strange idea for a couple of reasons.

For one thing, the United States involvement in World War I was limited. For the first 3 years, the US remained neutral. The United States did not enter the conflict until April of 2017. The war ended in November of 2018.

For another thing, why not just leave it as it is, and honor every veteran of the United States Armed Forces? Trump's idea would only honor a very small fraction of those who have served this country.

I was one accused of wanting grandma to die so my kids could go back to school. I'm in FL so we had it easier than most but I still hated it

Should have been left as it was originally, Armistice Day.

I disagree.

I think an American holiday honoring all of those who served in the United States Armed Forces makes more sense, but both are better than this :

WWI and WWII vets deserved their own holidays. Veterans day should be it's own stand alone day but not a .gov paid holiday for any of them unless they earned it.

Again ... I disagree.

We already have too many federal holidays. Veteran's Day encompasses everyone who served, and as a practical matter, should be left as it is.
