President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

So we aren't going to allow Greenlanders to vote when we take over?
Heck no.

You really want to give the power of self-determination to a bunch of people who haven't mustered the strength to throw off the oppressive yolk of the Danes?

Not me.

Now excuse me, I have to get my car inspected and registered so I can get my government's blessing to drive on the road I pay for that runs right down the front of my own property.

But massive numbers of EOs to bypass Congress, that's totally fine. Just ignore that.
Not bypassing Congress at all. Following Congress’ rules and taking advantage of authority Congress has given. That is Congress’ fault and Congress needs to step up and change that.
Incidentally, who do they think they are fooling with these pep rallies of his lackeys sitting at that table ? That's a real eye-roller, there.

I guessing they think they are fooling the same people who thought Biden was “sharp as a tack” and Kamala was the most qualified Dem to run for president. Those people don’t seem too bright, they might fall for this, too.

EXCLUSIVE: ICE Barbie Kristi Noem and Homeland Security advisor Corey Lewandowski's Cozy DC Living Arrangement revealed

The Homeland Security Secretary and her top advisor are known to enjoy the closest of professional - and personal - relationships.

And now DailyMail.com can reveal how the extraordinary coziness between Kristi Noem and Corey Lewandowski extends as far as their private living arrangements.

The brazen pair - both married to other people - are residing in swish rental apartments across the street from one another in DC's fashionable Navy Yard neighborhood.

Lewandowski, 51, is a regular visitor to Noem's $3,750 per month, two-bed condo that enjoys breathtaking panoramic views of Southeast Washington and the Anacostia River.

And he doesn't have far to travel because his own luxe digs are directly opposite in a smart rental building boasting a lap pool, gym, and spa.

'I've seen them together here both in the elevator and in common areas,' one resident of Noem's building told DailyMail.com.

'Don't forget DC is a small town and people talk. It is an open secret that they are together.

'It has always been joked about that Navy Yard is a dorm for Hill Republicans and Trump staffers – now it's even higher up, with married cabinet secretaries bunking their volunteer chiefs.

DailyMail.com spotted DHS adviser Corey Lewandowski leaving DHS Secretary Kristi Noem's apartment complex clutching a duffel bag earlier this week

'Keeping the Homeland "secure", or at least pretending to, is now 24/7 I suppose.'

Mom-of-three Noem, 53, invited her kids and grandchildren to DC over the Easter weekend when she made international headlines for having her purse snatched as they ate at a burger bar.

Only days later, DailyMail.com spotted former Trump campaign manager Lewandowski walking back and forth between their two residences, set among artisan coffee shops, bars, and chic waterfront restaurants.

On one occasion the veteran lobbyist emerged from Noem's apartment complex in his trademark suit, necktie and US flag pin and climbed into an Uber.

The next evening Lewandowski walked out clutching a duffel bag, crossed the street where a Secret Service detail is parked up 24/7 and headed inside his own building.

Noem was the Republican Governor of South Dakota and a rising MAGA star when DailyMail.com first disclosed details of their years-long, clandestine affair in September 2023.

Dad-of-four Lewandowski wouldn't comment while Noem - married to her insurance exec husband Bryon for the past 33 years – denied the fling.

A DailyMail.com source insisted this week, however: 'There's no question the relationship is ongoing.

FBI Reassigns Agents That Kneeled During George Floyd Protest

The FBI reassigned many agents that were photographed kneeling during a 2020 protest after the death of George Floyd.

The reassignments are part of President Donald Trump’s efforts to remove “woke” and other politicized elements from within America’s intelligence community.

One former FBI official told CNN the reassignments raise concern the bureau bypassed its typical disciplinary process, which can reportedly take months or more than a year to review incidents.

After the photos initially emerged in the wake of George Floyd’s death, top FBI officials at the time reviewed the incident and said there were no violations of policy.

FBI Director Kash Patel said in February there would no longer be a “two-tier system of justice” but rather one “singular system of justice for all Americans.”

tRump shows his ant-woman bias.

Well, maybe the children will have two dolls instead of 30 dolls, and maybe the two dolls will cost a couple of bucks more than they would normally.

I am just trying to explore the history of EOs alongside current grievances and what can be done to reduce ability of presidents to govern via EO.
We don't like the current arrangement or the current mechanism for combating bad EOs.

The issue are Agencies. A lot of them shouldn't even exist in the first place.

Basically Congress got lazy and delegated a lot of their legislative authorities into these Agencies which reports to the President. These Agencies can make rulings and pass regulations as long as it is "arguable" within the scope of the legislation. They are basically a fourth branch with judicial, legislative, and executive functions. Presidents issue EOs now to manage them while Congress, basically, doesn't do anything.

To be fair, one issue with Congress is that you spend over 70%-80% of your time campaigning for your next term instead of doing the basic function of the job.

Not a great analogy.

Democrats do have an extensive history of making lame arguments over why the 2nd Amendment should be interpreted differently now vs 100 years ago .... they never go anywhere.

Republicans can make lame arguments over the 14th Amendment and waste their time like Democrats if they want to. The 14th Amendment says what it says. An executive order won't change it.

Yeah, the EO against Birthright Citizenship is a major stretch and won't make it through judicial review. Clear cut. Even a Republican, Pro-Trump court will shoot it down.

Secret Trump-era memo lets ICE drag suspected gang members from homes with no warrant
In light of the recent news about a no-knock raid on the wrong house, I commend the AG for refreshing LEOs on the law related to when searches and seizures are lawful.

Was there anywhere in her memo where she was wrong about the law?
