I didnt think info was shared between apps from different companies. I searched that picture of the whistle. . . never looked anywhere but google for just a moment. Talked about it in here for a couple posts, then went to instagram for a second. The first thing it shows me is a dude whistling. The feed has 4-5 posts about whistling in it now. Strange.

I feel like I need to revisit the “no fear” sticker comment. I DID think it was lame, because I was an adult when it was popular.

Now for the full disclosure……. when I was a KID I had an ULTRA HOT sticker on the back window of a 1983 Mazda 626 with home stereo speakers in the trunk.

So while I don’t shy away from taking shots at others, I’m more than willing to make fun of myself.

Ehh. For some of these kids, it's life-changing money. And you never know what tomorrow may bring - e.g. injuries. When I'm deciding where I want to work, I absolutely take salary into account.

Some Validity here but do you threaten to quit your job if you don’t get a raise multiple times a year? That’s what this world of college athletics has become.

Reality is are we really that low on depth? NFL teams manage to play 17 game schedules with 53 players. I know they can add a few players during the season but we have almost 80 scholarship players and another 30 walk ons. Most people thought NIL would spread the talent out and make some of the depth pieces be less talented and that’s what is happening. Despite the narrative on this board that reality is playing out most everywhere. The more you spend for depth the less you will have for elite deference makers. Teams are also adjusting on the fly because there are no rules. I just think it’s silly to pretend that this is just a Heupel and Tennessee issue. I’m sure even he would admit that he made some mistakes the last few months but he doesn’t have a crystal ball. Just a few random thoughts.

From my point of view it looks like we are placing priority on HS recruiting and keeping the guys we really want on the team. Is that the EASY button everybody wants us to hit? No. But imo it’s the best long term plan

How many TDs has Aguilar thrown against SEC competitor and in Heupels offense? How long has Aguilar been learning Heupels offense? I will be shocked if Merk isn’t the starter.

Just because he has decent success at App State doesn’t mean he can walk into Heupels offense and do it.

Harrison Bailey had thrown more SEC touchdowns than Hooker and Milton combined when they arrived in Heupel’s first season. Bailey was buried on the depth chart behind both of them. While I’m not comparing Merk and Bailey from an ability standpoint, your point of SEC touchdowns really isn’t relevant when projecting who the starter will be, especially when Merk hasn’t thrown any SEC touchdowns himself and only has 9 collegiate pass attempts.

If Merk is the starter, he will have had a great fall camp to beat out Aguilar who is talented in his own right and has immensely more experience.

Bru was pretty much finished physically by mid season last year. Lost most of his explosion. He's far from the player he was in '22. He left his all on the field here.

No way. She'll have to cheat on him and get him to admit it was his fault multiple times to even be nominated for that award.

Most gold diggers just think about separating some old dude from his money. She thought bigger. Took control of a whole P4 football program. I weirdly respect it. I look forward to midway through the season when she starts calling plays.

Hope it works out. I worry that we go that route, develop them, then they hit the portal after a decent year and put us back to porthole shopping.
