Difficult to imagine Merk beating out a guy who has thrown 56 TDs in college over the last 2 seasons. Could happen. But safe money would be on Aguilar.

How many TDs has Aguilar thrown against SEC competitor and in Heupels offense? How long has Aguilar been learning Heupels offense? I will be shocked if Merk isn’t the starter.

Just because he has decent success at App State doesn’t mean he can walk into Heupels offense and do it.
