If the House settlement occurs, the majority of the revenue sharing will go to 3 sports: football, basketball, and women’s basketball. Per the terms of the settlement, Baseball is lumped in with the rest of the “no margin” sports (ie tennis, golf, rowing, etc) which will receive a small % of rev share. NIL will be separate income bucket but there would be a clearinghouse overseen by Deloitte.

2) admin is fully supporting baseball evidenced by $100M in stadium renovations and making CTV highest paid coach in NCAA baseball
3) CTV had input on stadium renovations and design
4) fan support and big donor support has been stellar
5) he’s transformed UT to a baseball powerhouse
6) president of UT is a huge baseball fan; AD knows how important CTV is to UT and gives him 100% support.

If he was money-whipped by Texas, Arkansas, or LSU he'd have to consider it. As you said there are strong factors keeping him here though.

CTV knows the grass isn’t always greener on the other side…even with a boatload of more money.

Of the work environment isn’t good, it’s hard to enjoy work and enjoy the increase in pay.

I had a friend from southern Mississippi (in a Greek language study group, ironically) whose last name was Strum. He said everybody in his hometown (where his family had lived for generations) pronounced his name "Skrum" -- even his school teachers!
