President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, cited Trump's high number of executive orders signed (139) as being an accomplishment of his. However, Trump was frequently critical of Barack Obama for signing so many executive orders and even called Obama a "wannabe dictator" for circumventing Congress and governing by way of executive order. Through 100 days in office, Donald Trump is already halfway to Obama's 8 year total of 277 executive orders signed.

Trump even said that it was a sign of how bad Barack Obama was as a bi-partisan deal maker. Leavitt even boasted that Trump is close to surpassing Joe Biden's total of 162. What an odd boast, especially considering Trump's past rhetoric on EO's.

The difference is that Trump's executive orders are Big Beautiful Executive Orders.

You do not know me; much less the millions of other Republicans. You have no idea what many of us have done to support children after birth. Just because we don’t think the government is very good at doing these things doesn’t mean we don’t care. In fact I would say we care more because we actually watch how our donations are being used instead of sending in our annual check to the IRS, patting ourselves in the back for our “virtue”, and forget about the actual people we claim to be helping
Likewise, you don't know me yet you use a broard brush to paint all democrats the same color as a vocal minority.
We care? Or you care? Don't kid yourself into believing all Republicans make charitable contributions or that no democrats do. However if my tax dollars can be used for corporate bailouts and no payback loans for covid such as MTG received then I would think helping provide food clothing medical care and housing for indigent children isn't too much to ask.

So when you say "we" you're dead wrong

EO's should be done away with. The legislative branch needs to grow a set and take back power from the other two branches.

They think you're idiots.

Rubio, Homan dispute ‘misleading’ accusations Trump admin deported kids to parents’ country of origin: ‘They went with their mothers’
6 year olds. Other young-uns. Have the capacity to make life altering choices? Are you buying into this?

They think you're idiots.

Wait, I thought they were old enough to decide what gender they wanted to be and that is an irreversible life altering decision.

^^^^ In 100 days, Donald Trump is halfway to Barack Obama's 8 year total. ^^^^

An excerpt from the article :

March 29, 2016

At a campaign town hall in Wisconsin, Trump said he would make little use of executive orders if elected.

"I want to not use too many executive orders, folks. Nobody ever heard of an executive order. Then all of a sudden, Obama because he couldn't get anybody to agree with him, he starts signing them like they're butter. So I want to do away with executive orders for the most part."

^^^^ That's hypocrisy on steroids. ^^^^

Wait, I thought they were old enough to decide what gender they wanted to be and that is an irreversible life altering decision.

I would weigh in on this, but I am so guilt-ridden from that time my sons and I traveled together and I didn't get a court order allowing that travel, nor did I have to prove their mother's consent. All I had to do was, you know, buy plane tickets, go to the airport, and leave.

(Now, getting back in the country was a different story. We did get quizzed pretty heavily. I am pretty sure they thought I was a child trafficker.)

I mean, for real: if we had kept the child here all we would be hearing about is how the Trump Admin separated these children ("without due process!!!") from their custodial parent.

What is his deal with this and why would Republicans want to do this and lose every presidential election?

She will be speaking soon for all the TDS individuals to gravitate towards. I am not sure what accent she will be using in this speech however.

Your virtue signaling is admirable but I guess you failed to catch the "**** those kids (with cancer) and **** their illegal parents" bit amidst your tidal wave of moral superiority.

You don't see boasting about the number of executive orders signed as an odd flex?

Especially when one of them, bringing an end to birthright citizenship, is blatantly Unconstitutional, and has no chance of holding up under Supreme Court review. Oh, I suppose that Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito will side with the Trump Administration. They normally do, no matter what ..... but it will be 7-2.

It's exactly the kind of federal overreach that he accused Barack Obama of doing. Trump has no principles. Trump is shamelessly shrouded in hypocrisy and double standards.
