They're upgrading it to serve other purposes and expand it's usefulness from what I understand.
Never been to Fed Ex, how do they compare?
Disappointing, I've been trying to get back into the NBA and support the Grizz. But man, they just aren't built to compete, been like the roster is missing a couple of pieces, I watched sparingly tonight because if the draft. But in what I have watched I'll be honest, not sure Edey is a good fit.
I'm sure I'm missing something, please fill me in.
Edey is a bad fit with what they want to do now. They went from a heavy pick n roll offense to a heavy motion offense. The PnR would have made sense with Edey but Edey is largely worthless in the motion offense. And he's getting hunted defensively in the playoffs as expected.
It's not a bad team but this team isnt built to compete at the highest level. It's been beat up ad nauseum in here.
The Winslow, Ziaire, Smart transactions were colossal failures. The "2 non rotation players for 1 rotation transaction" went as expected. Clarke has been a bust on his 2nd contract. Gave Grayson away for $$ reasons. Couldn't scrounge together another couple mil last offseason to get Tyus. LaRavia was taken instead of Kessler. Edey pick makes no sense with what they want to do. Overvalued Vince and GG. They've averaged 1 good thing for 1 bad thing and that's what you'd expect for a play-in-team. Other than a couple of quibbles at the margins on these transactions, most went like we expected them to go....
This is my fear. That will be used as an excuse. Nevermind the 2 games in OKC where we lost by 70.
I agree with you. I don’t think this core can get us over the hump unless you add a significant piece or two… need a fringe all-star, especially at the wing. All of your questions are legit and they were legit whether Ja got hurt in Game 3 or not. I just hope the organization isn’t blinded by the same thing Ja apparently is.The fear is I dont really see a clear path forward to contention with this core.
Due to salary cap rules, you are going to have to renegotiate Jaren's 25-26 deal in order to extend him long term.
If you do that, then either you let Santi walk or you attach assets to get rid of Clarke and Jitty. Or Pera will have to be a taxpayer which aint gonna happen in Memphis.
Are GG and Vince viable NBA players?
Is Wells going to take that Bane step forward or the GG, Vince, Ziaire step back?
Can Edey play in April-June?
Can Ja fix his shot and play 75 games?
Is Tuomas a competent NBA coach?
