The Official #6 Tennessee @ #7 LSU Series Thread (Fri. April 25 7:30PM EDT SECNET+) (Sat. April 26 8PM EDT ESPNU) (Sun. April 27 3PM EDT SEC NETWORK)

Curiel was the MVP today. Hard to believe that dude’s a freshmen.
Yep. These 20 yo freshmen used to be 20 yo juniors. Same goes for many of TN’s freshmen. They take their redshirts in high school so they have the experience and strength of upperclassman while having the eligibility of a true freshman.

This could’ve been a whole lot worse and ended in a sweep. It sucks to lose the series, but getting 1 in a road environment against that team is huge. We’re gonna get everybody’s best shot because we are the winningest program in recent history (5 years) and just won the NC. The sky is not falling, Tony and crew will have us ready for postseason play.

AJ still has some rust to dust off but by the end of May, he could be very difficult to face. Glad to see him working on the weekend.
I have not seen AJ before. However, as long as he has been out the injury must have been bad . I know about trying to find the "magic" after arm trouble.
As I said, I have not seen him before but his arm angle seemed to be off. He was under many of his pitches and never really had much pop.

Hope he accelerates his comeback.

How are we in Tony's 8th season as head coach without 3 solid starters for SEC weekends ?
I know Russell is injured, but that's hardly an excuse at this point.
Tony has been great and I hope he stays here forever, but he has got to upgrade our pitching and defense.
We are young and all that this year, but how young are the guys who are actually playing the most. I see lots of juniors out there.

Texas luck is gonna run out. They have a ton of one run wins. They still have Arkansas Florida and Oklahoma. Not saying they are bad at all they are very good. But! They won’t beat our 2022 25-5 sec record.
