I think the Browns draft was kind of stupid. Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders? WTF?The point of that post was value not winners and losers. It was on the percieved value of the picks against your options. The point i made earlier is anytime you choose to burn the #1 you are giving away your biggest value piece. So naturally you'd slide. They did the same to Panthers when they took Bryce. He was not immediately good either. 1st overall pick QB's when you have a lot of needs are huge risk. I like your draft fine, but hard to argue some teams like Atlanta didn't clean house. Pearce was a strong Value pick. Conversely picking only values like they believed Browns did (Shadeur and Sampson) is not a gaurantee either. I firmly believe you had a better draft than them. Giants and Falcons would be my top 2. I think Titans fell to middle low in overall value.
Yes, those two picks have been highly graded and commended, as is signing Restrepo as an UDFA. But nobody has rated their draft highly across the board, and the metrics don't either. That's not a narrative, that's just what happened.Don't fall for the usual narrative. They drafted TE Helm and WR Alomayor. Both are very good at what they do.
Yea, I really wanted Cowboys to draft Alomayor. The guy will ball out in NFL.Yes, those two picks have been highly graded and commended, as is signing Restrepo as an UDFA. I haven't seen anyone who thinks it's a great class. I don't think it's a bad class. I think it's a good/decent class. This is long-winded, but when am I not? This is the ONLY person I've seen that thinks the Titans had a bad class.
