2025 Transfer Portal Thread

Might be overstating his shot as slow developing. When he’s wide open he definitely is more deliberate but plenty of shots in that clip show a pretty quick release when defenses are closing on him. Obviously not Chaz quick but it really isn’t slow.
I have no issues with his release. His athleticism is questionable at SEC level, but given he is so young our S&C program would benefit him greatly. He seems to have some moxie to his game. Not sure I would want him starting at 2G but would be great to have his shooting coming off the bench.

I wouldn’t even say Cade Tyson was meh last season

2.6 ppg?? that’s horrific
It was ugly (and surprising to a certain extent) but it was a terrible situation for him. He made a very dumb decision to go to that ball dominate (ball hog) guard-oriented UNC team. He got very little run.

Several players with no eligibility remaining are entering the transfer portal (including Dubar) so there seems
to be many believing a 5th yr is coming, probably in June.
June basketball portal madness FTW!

(I know there isn’t an actual portal window in June. Just saying).

Has anyone read or reliably heard anything about the timeline for our Zoom with Adams?

It doesn’t make sense to you, but right or wrong, it does to CRB. Ament had a market value and we paid below it. Rice had a market value and USC paid well above it. Im not weighing right or wrong. As I said there are two sides. Barnes doesn’t want a team that is a mercenary group. I prefer it, but it has a downside.
I like the way CRB and staff go about the business of recruiting. They seem to trust their valuations on players and don’t chase players over money.I’ve heard Coach Barnes say plenty of times they have to want to be here for the right reasons and be a right fit.I also like how their always seems to be open dialogue with players concerning recruiting needs. Some people might think he’s to honest or transparent but it either resonates with players and their families or it doesn’t.

Not even in the shadow or behind the scenes but all the way behind the shadows! That’s some super secret business right there 😜
Think…international. This guy wasn’t supposed to be coming to college but has changed his mind. Just wait. Not an insider. AT ALL. But I have a good friend who is and this is going to be a great get by the Vols.

This team wants reach final 4 , got put talent on the floor , plus takes little luck also

Maybe some will share my concerns after seeing this. Slow release. Below average athleticism even with his current lack of development. Just don't see him being able to defend or get space to required to get his shot off.

I may be WAY off but I'm a little surprised he is getting any looks from power 4 programs.

If he ends up here -- I'll pull for him extremely hard of course. I do hope I'm wrong.

I will just make a general statement having followed and watched some patriot league this season. It’s BAD. Didn’t watch any Lafayette games so won’t make an opinion on him but would just wonder how the stats translate
