Russia isn't giving up any territory they have taken at the negotiating table...at least not much of it. It would have to be taken by force, and Ukraine doesn't have enough boots on the ground to do that. Just like Lee fighting Grant, Lee just didn't have enough bodies, if he had then Grant would have been defeated. Now, which country is willing to send troops or even their air force in great numbers? Answer: No one. The best hope is to broker a deal, though that will be tough. If a deal is brokered then Ukraine will have to be willing to cede the eastern Provence's that Russia has taken. If not, then this war will rage on for at least 3 more years or longer until Ukraine just runs out of resources. Now if Russia messes up and does something to draw Poland in for example, then it's a whole new ball game. I don't see that happening though.

Agreed. But giving an unlimited checkbook isn't going to win this war. The only way to win this war is to put soldiers over there, either us or NATO troops

Putin has been very strategic in this war and has held back I believe. The only way that we're really going to be able to defeat Putin is to send troops over and to join the war. Thus World War III. If America and European troops went over there to fight. Then this war ends pretty quickly. It depends on how many US soldiers Bearded, evil and the other board's warmongers are willing to allow killed and wounded. Let's see how far the Ukraine flag waivers are willing to go.
