Not a fan. But he’s a contributor- both on defense and from 3. If Barnes can get him to control the antics, he would be worth it.

I’m of the same opinion. I don’t like him as a person at all and hardly think he’d be a cultural fit, but the kid can ball. If Barnes can instill even a little discipline into him, he’s worth the pickup.

We can do much worse, but I really don’t like the idea of having to cheer for CBM for a year lol

Also not a fan of CBM but let's not lump him and Cade Tyson together in the same realm of playing ability lol. One is a Final Four starter and one is a last on the bench rotational piece

To be fair we wanted Cade more than Dubar last year. If he's back in the portal AND we can now get him cheaper than last year I'm all for it.

We've got 2/3 spots... Cade, Felix's brother, and then a legit SG... good chance that's Gainey if 5th year passes but I think staff wants to leave that as an option with the 15 limit and add someone else via portal.

CBM I think is someone at Bama trying help his stock...in what world would it make sense for the Vols to pony up to "buyout" CBM's NIL contract when they could have just paid more in offers to McKneely, Rice or Freeman?

Plus I think CBM would need a waiver...even without counting his JuCo season he's still played 4 years in college already.

I just spit up in my mouth a bit at the thought of that. Surely Barnes isn't going to risk his culture and locker room and bring that guy into the program? Tyson I could hold my nose and accept, but not CBM. Really hope this isn't real.
