I remember being at the FCA breakfast for the Fiesta Bowl - National Championship. Both teams came to the breakfast. Both Coach Fulmer and Coach Bowden gave great testimonies that morning. I was in college at the time and will never forget that experience.

Caught him at a local 1st Baptist Church in town several years back. They booked him for the speech and FCA promotional trail thing he does. Meet & Greet and meal thing they sold tickets for. Was well worth the time spent. Enjoyed hearing him and meeting him.

Ain't saying it'll be enough to exclude him, but when Fulmer arrives at the pearly gates he'd best be prepared for "hmmm...good...good....wait - are you the guy who hired Cornbread as Tennessee HC?!?"

That reminds me of one of my favorite jokes. Saban dies and goes to heaven and is getting a personal tour from Jesus. Jesus walks him up to a nice home with Alabama flags hanging out front and tells him it is his. Saban looks up on a mountain top and sees this huge mansion covered in UT flags with an orange and white checkered walk to the front door. Saban asks "Why did General Neyland get a bigger house than me?" Jesus replies "Oh no, that is my house."

Unaware, ty for the info, I find that appalling.
Yeah absolutely horrific. Fulmer was so appalling that noted Atheist Arian Foster chose to come back and play for him when he could have entered the draft. Must have been absolutely grueling on all those guys to be a part of a quick prayer, can’t imagine the anguish.
