Ament can definitely shoot. T-roy can definitely shoot as well. Others working on shot & we will pick up more shooters.

If we’re relying on Henderson to provide consistent scoring next season, we may not be a tourney team.

I said that when Zeigler was a freshman. Barnes even thought that when Zeigler 1st committed. In all reality - you have NO idea if he can carve out a role year 1. Barnes is on record being extremely excited about him and there's a reason they jumped at the chance to get him when he left Fordham.

My response was not about scoring it was a response to someone who said we have zero shooters. Relying on scorers and having people on your team that can shoot the ball is two different things and you should be smart enough to know that difference...

And fwiw if you said that about Zeigler before his freshman year (like most) you couldn't have been any more wrong.

Moral of the story - he "could" contribute year 1. That's not up to "us" to decide

They have plenty. They had a budget 8 to 11 million. 2 million offer for Rice and 1 for Freeman. Plenty of good Hugh school kids and good players in portal.

Also have Gillespie that might slide there when Boswell or Henderson come in.

SF said that Barnes wanted Ament so much that they got donors to contribute outside the budget for him.
