President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

A lot of Americans have a misconception about traveling between nations. You have no right to travel to another nation. That nation allows you there due to treaties with the USA or other reasons. You are subject to be deported from that nation for anything.

When I travel outside the USA, I always realize that I am a "guest" there. It is basically like going into a neighbor's home. If you ask them to leave, they have to leave.

What people in this board are arguing in that example is someone coming into your home; you ask them to leave; and they come back and say "why should I leave without you providing a reason for me to leave?"

Granted, USA has signed treaties and Congress passed laws that guarantee some privileges to non-Citizens but their isn't a Constitutional right for non-Citizens and the US Federal Government has wide breath to remove non-Americans for security reasons.

Such an arrogant low-life POS Dem threatening world leaders not to work w/Trump.
Saying once they come back into power they will take revenge on those who support him.

Starting to think that making a Real World contestant with no relevant experience Secretary of Transportation wasn't the best idea.

Not saying the SoT is good at anything other than telling Trump how wonderful he is, but Is there a connection between him and the cause or handling of the fire? It's too early for the follow up to have been botched like in East Palestine.

This case aside, it’s kinda wild that we have a list of criminal offenses that are supposedly “not deportable”.

You can be here as guest, commit any crime on this list, and not face deportation. That just seems off to me.
There are some really trivial criminal offenses.

Why is it a massive red flag?

Immigration is, understandably, concerned regarding why people are visiting a country. Traveling a quarter way around the world without concrete plans for their leisure visit is, at absolute best, indicative of an incredibly flighty or disorganized person who may "oopsie" into overstaying their ESTA/visa. More likely, it implies that the visit isn't quite as leisurely as it may seem.

No accommodations for your stay? Lacking a tourist itinerary? Return flight conveniently not yet booked? Goodbye.

And? Try going to Canada, by car, without a hotel and see how well CBSA takes it. Flying from Central Europe to Hawaii without accommodations is a massive red flag.

Coming from someone who has backpacked countries several times, I guess my "you're a red flag!" letters must have all been lost in the mail. Lol. I've waited until after getting off the plane to find accommodations more often than not.

I've done a whole lot of international trips and the only countries I know that really fetishize on where exactly I stay is the US and China. It shouldn't matter to ICE since I have a US passport, but it does.
Lots of tourists wing it on travel plans and accomodations. I have when I'm on vacation.
I'm referring to travelers with strong passports. The EU, Japan, Singapore, etc. do screen arriving travelers from poorer countries more closely and that can be justified.

Enforcement of our immigration laws has been so lax for so long that this is common.

I know for a fact that there are people within my "circle" that pull this- they come to work in the US (no return date for tickets, either, which the US still doesn't regularly and actively check) on tourist visas, work under the table, stay right up to the limit, go home, come back, repeat. They send almost 100% of that cash back to their countries and they pay zero in taxes.

What we actually need to be doing to curb this ******** is something like tariffing or taxing overseas transfers of money by non-citizens at some absurd amount like 100% until the problem resolves itself. Practically I'm not so sure how to do it without harming actual Americans, but it needs to be addressed in some way. We don't do enough to eliminate incentives for people to break the law.

And frankly, for this particular issue, we have the "free market" herp-derp republicans and their lobbies to thank.

I'm pulling a Huff with the copy and paste.

When visiting the US travelers on tourist visas must provide customs the information of where they will be staying. It's the law and been the law for a long time.

Yes, while traveling to the United States, you are generally required to provide information about where you will be staying, especially if you are coming for a temporary stay. This is because U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers want to ensure you have a clear plan for your visit and that you are not intending to overstay your visa.

Here's why and what to expect:
  • Demonstrating a Clear Plan:
Providing information about your accommodations helps demonstrate that you have a legitimate reason for entering the country and that you have a plan for your stay.

  • Preventing Overstaying:
If you lack information about your accommodations, it could raise questions about your intentions and potentially lead to denial of entry or other issues, according to a Nolo article.

  • Temporary Stay Requirement:
If you are entering the U.S. as a non-immigrant visitor, providing information about your accommodation helps the CBP officer determine if you meet the requirements for a temporary stay.

What to Expect:
  • Questioning:
You may be asked by a CBP officer where you will be staying, including the name of the hotel, address, or if you are staying with a friend or family member.

Yes, I have no doubt. I told my Dad, Aunt, and and Uncle he could walk out in the street. Brandish a handgun, and execute someone in the street and his base would froth at the mouth that they'd someone overcome tyranny.

I give him a flaming F - , the F is for something not nice, and with a low IQ. the minus is the chefs kiss.
