They are arguing, in accord with the Supreme Court's ruling, that he be returned and given due process. He'll probably then be deported, if what the administration says about him is true, which, frankly, I think everyone is starting to wonder if the administration can be trusted at all on this.

What was the conviction for? A misdemeanor. Restitution was $100 which is very minor.
If that's enough to deny him a green card that's fine with me, but let the legal process play out.
