'25 QB transfer prospects (Joey Aguilar)

Does Altmyer get an extra year it this new rule passes? Like could he be here for 2 seasons? If so, that’s an even bigger plus. You could RS Faizon his first season then transition right to him.
We all hope if Altmyer becomes a Vol, that he goes pro after one year, keep the pipeline going to the pros.

If it was a concern for Nico, why wouldn't it be one for any potential incoming transfer Portal QB. If you were a veteran QB and looked at our returning WR production, would that not cause concerns? It definitely would for me. Literally Brazzell is the only one with any kind of starting experience. Mathews got some more towards the end of the season, but not enough to instill confidence.
Not trying to stir the pot, but at this point why in the world would you believe anything Nico or his crazy ass father say?

lol. Our floor was never 6-6. Get real.
Name any proven playmaker on offense that we have at this point. We just lost one of the top RBs in the country, who was one of the reasons we got 10 wins last year. We also just lost our QB who was supposed to come into maturity this season, leaving us to scramble for a replacement or play another unproven at the hardest position on the field.

The defense will be pretty good, but we are paper thin at DB right now.

I’m not saying we are going to get 6 wins, but I would argue it’s a real possibility if we don’t start solving our problems at WB, WR, and DB fast.

Just bc guys are unproven doesn’t mean they’ll be worse than what we had. And losing D Samp hurts but Vols rushing attack will always produce.

Just dropping this here in case anybody is confused about who we would be getting
- He had 80 yards passing against Michigan.
- 185 yards. 1 TD 1 INT -28 YARDS rushing vs Penn State.

Quick decision maker- albeit a lot of that was play calling. I like whoever they're OC is a Illinois.

We really need help on offense and not just players... coaching needs an upgrade on offense.

This may prove to be true. I had similar frustrations last year watching our offense.

Looks like that part is what it is next year so gotta hope adding Seth Littrell helps and our young coaches take some strides this offseason. It could happen. But need a QB who can be a leader and quick decision maker for sure.
