The Braves have been trying to "tone down" Acuna since he arrived, instead of embracing his culture. Let's recall that Snit also benched Ozuna in 2023 for the exact same thing. This a blatant double standard from Snit here, and at least optically, it looks like the white guy on the team is getting preferential treatment. Either way, I think it's clear Snit and Acuna merely tolerate each other. Neither one will be attending each other's retirement party.

It's jmo, but I think Snit's comments today should get him fired. Either you knew what JK did and decided to have a double standard for a white player

You were asleep at the wheel and legitimately had no clue why he was thrown out at 2nd on a ball hit off the top of the wall.

So it's either racism or incompetence. Either should be clear grounds for firing, especially when you consider how poorly we have started and him looking like he's literally about to fall asleep in the dugout at times.

I'm tired of the "good old boy" network our franchise seems to have where we keep promoting guys from within the organization that have the same dinosaur opinions and expectations of the players on this team. The 90'sand some of the 2000's were fun. We had a lot of success with JS, Bobby, McGuirk, etc. But it's time to move on. And Snit is the first that needs to go.

He checked out last year and everyone with a pulse can see it. I understand he made little money the first sixty years of his life and I get this is the last year of the contract, but him and management should have sat down and really discussed if he actually has the passion and drive to do another year.
