Got a funny story on that….I used to be in that business an my company purchased UUNET which was the original Internet company. We had Vince Cerf (one of the original inventors) to Knoxville and so I asked the question. He said “ Al Gore did provide hot funding so he would be considered one of the founders of the internet”. I thought it was funny…..cause we all knew.
