True, one of the few times he missed. Makes me wonder that since Trilly is an agent himself, he’s seeing things from that perspective. In other words, his predictions are primarily based on where the money is, and it doesn’t always account for those recruits who choose to take less money for a better fit. We know Rice is getting offered more from other schools, so perhaps that is driving his prediction.

I think extra resources were already set aside for Ament which we started trending shortly after…SF spoke about that a few days ago. He also mentioned Rice almost committed last Friday but his rep wanted more money 🤷🏾‍♂️.

Still hoping we get Rice and Freeman to go with him because I think that makes us a Final 4 and a real title contending team.

I agree with your second sentence. As for your statement about Trilly, it’s now known that he is an agent. I would say he knows a little more than the average fan. His record speaks for itself. Let’s not kid ourselves about that.

He will. Auburn brought in a transfer that plays his position. They are losing players left and right. Not a good roster with all the players leaving. Pettiford only returning player in their 8 or 9 man rotation and he declared for draft.

Saw on Indiana board that is pure speculation from an Auburn beat writer. Nothing concrete at all. Listening to others that cover UT they have liked our chances too. So no one knows on this one.

All of the Freeman collapse was last night, cleverly after eod on a holiday. Auburn is a much higher offer and we typically don’t re-enter those games. Don’t know if it can be saved. Maybe. Rice is also tenuous as I said Thursday. His personal communication with us is ongoing, but Willard continues to drag his agent. The Ament thing is only holding because we promised him his moment. We need to all appreciate that he’s the highest modern recruit we’ve signed and has freaky length for a 3. It’s a huge get. I continue to believe we’ll put together a great roster top to bottom, knowing that there are unanswered questions. One odd variable is that there is a threatened class action suit from the 25 class to pursue damages if they are excluded from the fifth year. Remember that the pool of possibilities there is not just ZZ and Gainey, but players from other schools. Many teams are holding space and money based on this. Look for Basilio to have a new position on all these matters following this post. Legion of Poon will update us in the morning.

Can Ament score? This isn’t one of freaky athletic dudes that is very raw offensively is he? They have to get more players that can score.

He's liable to shoot his team out of a game, plus he's a low class cheap shot artist and a whiny b with psychological issues. Take him for your rec league team but keep him away from the Vols.

that’s honestly what’s he praised for is his scoring ability & the way he moves at his size
