Trump Ignores the Courts

Good news. Birthright citizenship should only apply to children of US citizens. Hopefully the court helps to move toward that direction.
The anchor baby thing needs to end. Many people have purposely entered the U.S. illegally to crap out a kid, then suddenly, The
Mom, the Dad, and the other two siblings get to stay here too and sponge off the tax payers.

I 100% agree but it needs to be done by constitutional amendment

True story.

I asked a sub for his tax id information today. He’s relatively new and had given it to me when I started using him but I misplaced it. He started giving me everything you think of. I said calm down dude , what’s wrong with you? He said “just trying to stay legal….don’t want to get deported.

The fact that he’s visually bothered or worried about it shows how ****ed up this situation is.

So what are you proposing?
See how the supreme court rules first. If that doesn't work then push a bill through congress quickly while you have a slim majority in the house. Put language in that states that the child is a U.S. citizen, but the other family members aren't given rights to stay permanently as citizens. If it stands then most will never come here solely for the purpose of having a child so everyone gets to stay.

I actually think it's perfectly reasonable to say that birthright citizen should not apply to children of illegal immigrants, but it would absolutely require a constitutional amendment. IIRC, the 14th amendment was ratified before the federal government even started regulating immigration, so it's not really possible to sincerely argue it wouldn't have applied to the children of illegal immigrants.
