Unless Ament or Freeman show they can play the stretch 4 I think Carey is gonna start there. He's a real threat inside the paint to score with more than just lobs or put backs, actually has moves.

JP will be given plenty of time to get back to full health... likely see Cade, Bishop and Evans as off the bench contributors and then I think we'll add 1 more bench player from the portal.

Rick is gonna give everyone a shot to play though...especially if we're assuming the 5 year "no more redshirts" passes. So we might see Henderson/Brown early in the year too.

EDIT: All the above is assuming 13 scholarships with no returning seniors (gonna assume that's not happening until it does)

I’d start Ament at the 4 and bring in Carey, but that’s splitting hairs about a terrific starting 5.

Brandon Miller was 6’9” and 200 pounds when he played at Alabama. Nate is currently 6’9” and 185 pounds, if his profile is correct. He should be able to add a few more pounds over the summer, so I’m not too worried about his weight, if he turns out to be as talented as his ranking.
