Lol me too. I did like physics much more than chemistry though. My mind just works that way. Plus chemistry involved way too much studying, and well, I was lazy

I just have to say (unfortunately) that the two teams we played this year that I thought, yeah this team is better, were the two that played for the National Championship. Florida attacked the basket relentlessly and had a clear edge on us in athleticism.

I'd add that we were able to offset their athleticism advantage, obviously more in the second game than in the third.

Yea, I was trying to find stats on comparable players. I think his 37% from 3 stands out on a SS team. C (above) is a nice stat line.

I understand the 37% from 3 number, as its been talked about a lot. I just keep getting flashbacks to Igor who also shot 37% at Charlotte last year, but finished around 31% for us this year. I know Rice brings other things to the table, but I would love a true sharpshooter/sniper.

Ahh...yeah reading the tea leaves I think USC is playing poker with Rice and Arenas...which in turn is now pulling us in as well.

I think if Arenas was signed they wouldn't even be talking to Rice.

Sure, we don't know what someone will do in the future. But, Rice did it at the P4 level as a sophomore and was a more volume shooter. Rice shot 214 three pointers last year while Milicic shot 149 at Charlotte.

Rice was 7/9 from 3 against Illinois in the Big Ten Tournament. At Indiana he was 5/7. Had a buy game early in the season where he was 10/14 from the field. He can get hot.

I’m definitely onboard with Rice, and those are great numbers. I guess I’m just trying to manage my expectations.
