Especially since we have good defense now. Used to be, "if we could only fix the defense"

We did...then the offense broke! I think we could potentially be better than ever this year if the offense returns to how Heupel's offenses usually run. It's crazy to sit here and wonder if our offense will be OK. Crazy turn of events...

Just watched Haynes King’s highlights…he’s the type of quarterback we need right now. Very mature, not afraid to run, makes quick and decisive decisions and seems to have the IT/Winning factor. He’d be the type that the players would rally behind and he’d make them better. GBO!

Stars are important in recruiting. When they are on campus, it's meaningless until they produce.

Ty Simpson has looked really bad when given the chance to play. Arnold was arguably the worst QB in the SEC last year. He had 3 total TDs in 6 games of SEC play. True Freshman rarely succeed in the SEC. Even Lagway had a very mediocre season statistically, but it was impressive for a true freshman.

He's just a QB man. Not a flashy guy, no arm that'll blow your mind, but he reads the defense and puts the ball where someone can get to it and doesn't take sacks. He'd put up some numbers in this offense.

I'd be cool with it.

Of the guys we've talked about, I'd much rather have Becht or Robertson if we had an entire offseason to work with, but given that it's April already Altmyer's experience in Kiffin's offense would help us out quite a bit.
