They have zero top recruits or top transfers coming in. Right now Vols have the better roster. Gillespie is a way better add at PG.

They have every single contributing big coming back; Haugh, Condon, Chinyelu and Handglotten. Of course that could change in this current era, but as of now, they’re all back. They also have Denzel Aberdeen back, who played a ton and would start at any other place in the country.

He’s announced he is testing the NBA waters while also retaining his college eligibility. It’s the same thing Clayton and Richard did last year. Florida is rolling in NIL contributions right now so my guess is that will sway Condon to return.

I just have to say (unfortunately) that the two teams we played this year that I thought, yeah this team is better, were the two that played for the National Championship. Florida attacked the basket relentlessly and had a clear edge on us in athleticism.

Which we are getting fixed. Added Carrey, leading for Freeman, and Ament we have a shot for. All of those guys are huge. ZZ, Gainey, and possibly Mashack will be back for the 5th year if it passes. Carey was the top offensive rebounder in SEC in kenpom.

IMO their bigs were good at getting those extra rebounds and kicking it out to Clayton & Martin. All their bigs are good but if you have to play through them none of them IMO are game take over guys. All are really good interchangeable SEC guys, that were just what Clayton needed the kick out 3 is the highest % 3 being shot. JMO If UF can replace their 3-point shooting and keep all their Bigs IMO none are NBA guys. They will be in the hunt and like everybody else in the tournament everything has to fall in place matchups and all to bring the big prize it's a certain number of teams have the base then its timing and a lot of factors like getting favorable calls vs Houston all a part of the game with humans involved.
