Ball wanted the best and was willing to take attention off them in the media to help them get the best. Lonzo did the 1 year at UCLA with 4 other NBA players around him. They went 31-5 and made a Sweet Sixteen as a 3 seed.

For LaMelo the NCAA was likely making him ineligible because of the Big Baller Brand shoe coming out (the exact thing NIL now allows). So his dad said F 'em and LaMelo played a few years of pro ball to improve his game until he got drafted in the NBA.

And as pointed out LiAngelo now has a 8 to 13 million dollar deal with Def Jam as he's moved to pursuing music.

I just read the article. The person quoted in Nico’s camp is clearly a moron. They’re so outclassed and over their skis trying to play their bull$hit game. They clearly mismanaged their meal ticket and now their whole crew is going to face the consequences.

Heup isn't the best recruiter but he's not terrible from what I gather. NIL has changed everything so it's hard to compare recruiting ability today vs 5-10 years ago. There's no way Sark is a top recruiter and they'll likely have top 5 classes every year.

Yup. He did a phenomenal job with his boys if you look back at everything and see how it ended up.
