I don't think he's even saying that he's saying that. Some troll wrote all those words and put sabans name on the bottom."One of my paid political consultants thought this message would win me support in my quest to become Emperor of college football. You should feel free to trust every word he wrote. It kinda breaks things up when I am not the one lying directly."
Signed, your new best friend, Tricky Nickie."
Yes. The texts read like Kenny Powers talking about all the MLB teams still calling himlol is Nicoās dad trying to get this out there to make people think thereās interest?
Notice how the failed twitter journo said āhere are the segments from our DMs regarding Nico getting offers over $4Mā and yet the actual message from Nicoās dad says āthe offers we have received are better, by a lot!ā and never even specified a number or even alluded to it being close to $4M! Exaggeration is a classic tactic for controlling a narrative and I really feel like thatās the case here.
I think this is just too fishy. Not a single big name school seems to be interested and this dad has ruined his sonās football career for nothing but seems to stupid to even realize it.
This is so stupid, he was set to make in the neighborhood of 4 here. But he overplayed his hand and we said enough.Uh huhā¦
Local New Orleans sports guy.
I have no doubt someone will pay much more than heās worth.Amazing how every name associated with Nico gets shot down...... Either by the program or program mouthpieces.
The only constant has been UCLA, not sure why money would be an issue in LA but it appears it is.
Maybe Nico doesn't get his 4 million. But watch his team downplay his number by saying they chose UCLA and have them the home team discount.
Seems you forgot the moon pie."The University of Tennessee is the premier program in college football. Always has been, always will be. It hurt me tremendously that they never asked to coach their program. I would have done so for two quarters and an RC Cola. Rocky Top Forever, Go Big MF Orange.
Signed, yours always, Nick Saban"
powerful words
It was never his decision. To be clear, Iām not absolving Nico of blame nor disagreeing with how Tennessee handled it.
Two things can be true at once:
1) Nico is in the wrong and learned a tough life lesson. He was greedy and it cost him.
2) Heās still just 20-years old and clearly was not surrounded by a strong support system necessary to keep him from making bad decisions like this.
Nico can be wrong, and this situation can still be sad. Which, to me at least, it is. None of this had to happen like this. Heāll he regretting this for the rest of his life.
