Other schools starting to come out and say they will not be held hostage by holdouts. This could be the start of the players market adjusting. The amounts will not nor can they sustain the continued amounts. Even pro players and most folks saying enough is enough. That doesn’t mean Tennessee might not ever pay a proven star top money I believe they will. What I do think is your going to start seeing schools balk at being held hostage by holdouts and folks continually focused on getting a new deal. Most just want a fair deal, I think incentive based deals are at least going to play part in contracts, especially in the first couple years. I have no problem players making money, but for the ones willing to holdout and want crazy money that doesn’t match their production schools need to hold firm on kids with a bunch of handlers that are always lurking around.
