When my son played baseball these are the types of talks that really got me watching the game and I fell in love. Coaches preach to watch the game and look for tendencies.
The other one that my son always used, was if the pitchers lift foot crosses the rubber in the wind up, he’s going to the plate.

It’s hard to pick up on TV. But live it is really interesting.

I don’t think I realized just how young the football team is going to be. There are only 35 (if my math is correct) scholarship players on the roster that will be going into at least their 3rd season of collegiate football. The rest of the scholarship players will only have 1 year or less of college experience.

The BaseVols are the youngest in the SEC.

52, I’m just concerned with who else jumps ship once the spring portal opens.
I’m going with 7-5 realistically, an upset along the way and we may get to 8-4.
Regardless, Heup gets another “soft pass” for this season, at least from the realists.
The negateers will still be calling for his head though.

Trout is one of the good guys in the game, but because he came out of the gate smoking hot and the media labeled him as the next Mantle, people have soured in him because he can’t stay healthy.
This guy has lost something like 4 1/2 combined years and still has almost 400 HRs.
I like the guy a lot. He’s been loyal to a crap organization and plays the game the way it’s supposed to be played.
Good on Trout for doing this and I’m glad he’s getting the publicity for it.

No, I’ve been behind him other than the OC hiring and not making a change at DB coach. He should get a hall pass for this season no matter what happens, even if we finish 4-8. This whole Nico situation showed us coach is going to do everything in his power to support his guys but he also isn’t going to put anyone above the team and that’s to be commended.
