As did Harrison Bailey, multiple walk on RBs, etc. Coaches allow you to see what they want you to see in the spring game. I do hope Macintyre is a stud though.

In the highlights I saw on the youtubes it did look like Gmac played better - was quicker making decisions and had better pocket awareness and maybe a quicker release. I think he’s faster too.

Sounds like GM had a better day than Merk by a pretty wide margin. With that being said, everyone would be wise to keep in mind that the likes of Harrison Bailey, BJ Coleman, and Quintin Dormady all looked excellent in a spring game and were more or less worthless to the program on fall Saturdays. Meanwhile, Hendon threw a pick 6, looked pretty pedestrian in his spring game, and ended up being the best QB since Peyton. Just gotta keep things in perspective.

That’s great but college Tyler Bray strikes me as a guy that woulda pulled the same tactics if this nonsense was around when he played. I’ll take him for his word though lol always felt bad he had all that talent and a complete moron for a coach

Sure. The play calling isn’t detailed or any exotic blitz packages, but again, using your eyeballs and saying one person looked better than another is not impossible.

Kiffin apparently called him as he was leaving and told him not to enroll in classes so he could follow him to USC.

I understand that but there wasnt unlimited transfers with huge money offers from other schools either. I could be wrong but in 2010 I think players still had to sit out a year even if their HC left from their previous school. Could be wrong
