I am generally pretty positive in this thread as most of TN baseball is positive. Im not here to criticize other posters - Im watching baseball and when I see good, bad or indifferent play I post comments because this is a chat board. Otherwise VolNation is an echo chamber of platitudes and high fives.

I haven’t liked the umpire’s strike zone, but I like the way he handles the interaction with the coaches.

Keeps his cool. No overreaction.
Doesn’t make it about him. Let’s the coaches blow off steam, moves on. Professional.

Could use more with his self-control in the sport.

Nico should have left back in the winter , not at the end of spring practice. Fisher left when he could.
