Give Heupel Ohio State’s budget and he would be an elite recruiter. The whole landscape has changed and the golden rule is in effect. The team with the most gold rules. We simply don’t have the money that many schools have and never will.

I think the money is comparable at most major programs with a few exceptions. Programs that are winning and putting guys in the league regularly don’t have to pay us much for recruits. We are doing much better at winning, but I think we need to add some position coaches with better resumes and track records of putting guys in the league.
