We freed her this season but she locked herself back up for the time being. The Mealer Dodge combo on defense has just been to good to break up.

Something I think we could do with the lineup is lead off Fielder and move Leach into number two spot, Pannell, Boo, Nugent, Mealer, Dodge, Clark, Morgan. Leach has a .443 obp Morgan a .429 so not much difference gives you some power in the two spot if Fielder gets on followed by three more power bats.

I liked yesterdays lineup. Pretty much power from 2-9 and they provided 2 run-rule victories.

Four rating systems and were anywere from five to 10. Some of those 10 rankings have some suspicious teams in front of us that I think they should not be there.

We will have to ride Karlyn and have to hit to win two of three. That would be a great result. Winning the SEC was probably never in the cards but in softball does that matter in the long run? Get the highest seed possible and lets ride. It works for baseball all the time.

What’s wrong with the current thread we’ve been using for a long time? It’s worked well so why should we change just because a newbie decided they wanted to start a game thread?

What’s wrong with the current thread we’ve been using for a long time? It’s worked well so why should we change just because a newbie decided they wanted to start a game thread?

Because the mega thread ensures that only the people currently in it really contribute. It’s a lot to jump in the middle of a 90 page thread. I would prefer the individual series threads as well. Works great for basketball.

Okay, I don't agree with that part but it really doesn't matter. I'm one fan and I speak for no one but myself and it really doesn't matter to me one way or another. I just don't like change unless it is useful. A lifetime of quality programs soured me somewhat on the concept.
