:) Yea I recall seeing that now lol... I wasn't trying to be the jello sheriff of the house, I was just having some fun... I think we could all stand some this evening

It's not if, it's more of a when issue. When they get the official offer is the thing. Look at the Brunetti issue, for one.

Look at it how? He had an offer on the way to him when we informed him we were offering. It was sent to his school and he couldn't get by to pick it up immediately. He was still doing visits and camp. If this staff tells a guy straight up that they have an offer, then they have an offer on the way to them. They aren't going to put that out there if they aren't confident enough in the guy to make the offer and once they do feel good enough to offer, they don't second guess. More of the confusion about offers is caused by the prospect lying about offers or misunderstanding coaches.

I have a feeling we will have a commit from a QB in a week or so. By all accounts at the Elite 11, Bray has the most upside of any QB. He puts on 20-30lbs of muscle weight and he will be a stud.

This happens a lot, A buddy of mine in the coaching profession had this happen to him. Had a RB commit who was like the fifth best RB on their board, I guess he talked them up too much or something. Haha he said it was hell telling the Head coach they got a commitment from a player that they more then likely weren't going to offer.

word is that USC is going to offer bray as well after his performance

if they can add 60 or so lbs, they want him to play left tackle :)

Best of luck with Bray

:lolabove: Thanks. I think we finally found our guy. Thanks for being classy here. Dont be a stranger.

With Lamaison on campus bring this boy in and lets recruit some other positions. This boy has the size all he needs is some coaching.
:good!:

I really like this kids accuracy, but what is gonna happen the first time he gets popped by a legit SEC d-lineman? I mean he is 2 inches taller than Ainge and 30 lbs lighter. Skinny and incredibly slow. Legit concerns imo.

Ainge wasn't 6'8".

I don't understand why some think the 'big fish' would be someone else.

This kid's 2nd MVP in the Elite 11. He clearly outperformed that USC commit (whatever his name was who got over 10k posts in some other thread). The only thing the other kid won at the camp was 'most likely to win a championship'--which doesn't require him to leave the bench.

Hello? Big fish... this thread!
