If UT could pull a great QB, that would be crazy good. However, our worry would turn to Merk and/or GM transferring. I’m about to start hating this damn transfer portal. It giveth and taketh.

I listened to what they said and it was a good segment, definitely worth the listen. I’m skeptical about the whole “big fish” get. We heard that all throughout the winter portal regarding a WR and got nothing.

In hindsight, we probably should’ve seen this coming, with him being one of, if not the first, public multi million dollar per year NIL deals. The family are clearly some attention whores that want to make a media splash.

That said, this is incredible. With what I said above, these folks are going to be doubly humiliated and crippled by social media and the media at large turning on them. Zero sympathy. Rot away at sh*tty UCLA.

I'm beginning to doubt Heupel. Again, not because Nico is trying to extort more money. I keep looking at the bigger picture of roster construction and recruiting, and I'm not sure he's done well enough at either to take us to the next level. I want to believe he can, but the doubt is there. Not wanting to fire him. He's our coach at least until probation is over. But when probation is over, and all the hand cuffs are off, I think he'll really need to prove himself. 2022 created a lot of high hopes for me, but we've not seen the same QB play since. And both Milton and Nico were picked by Heupel, whereas Hooker fell into his lap.
