The math is pretty simple. If the coaches believe that Nico will take us to the playoffs again then you pay him. Otherwise, you let him go and just play the younger guys knowing that the 2025 ceiling is now lower. You run the risk of losing more skill players though which should be part of the calculation.

The it's dirty, but it's the rules of the game man. everyone keeps forgetting these guys had NO leverage, for decades. Is it right? No. Is it legal? Yes. Is it about to change in our favor, yes.

In my moment of clarity. Here's my take.

I'm betting Nico ends up in orange when its all said and done. He and his Dad arent idgits. He has a really golden opportunity to earn life changing coin in 2025-26.

He will get a pay bump, and all parties will simmer down.

If not, Tennessee is just fine with two four star QB's.

Nico is done here. He's been done since the end of last year. The coaches knew it. They hoped they could salvage it. I wish he'd have left before the spring semester. I thought he had all the physical talent in the world but there was something missing, an intangible. I'm ready for a clean break. All my opinion.

There are always going to be bad games. But for the most part our OL was good enough for Nico to throw the ball effectively and he just didn’t do it.

Nico probably thinks he deserves an extra $1.5M because we made the playoffs when in reality it was 90% due to Sampson and our defense.

Nico should be in the film room and practice field working his ass off and getting better instead of how many millions he’s going to make. Terrible look for him, because he was utterly mediocre last year.

Here's the thing. Nico already has a deal with another team. He wouldn't have done this without one. This has been in the works for a while. This shouldn't be the way it's done. Reflection of character IMO.
