OldTimer’s Dugout - Off Topic Thread

Not a single AL West team has a positive run differential, yet if the playoffs started today they would have 2 teams qualify for the postseason. Meanwhile, the Reds have a +2 run differential and are in last place in the NL Central. I just looked at their schedule and they had lost 3 consecutive games 1-0. I immediately thought “that has to be one of the most unlucky stretches in MLB history,” and yes indeed it was…

Dodgers have won 8 World Series Titles. 7 in L.A. and 1 in Brooklyn.

Braves have won 3 record books say but question is does Boston and Atlanta both claim the World Series title they won as the Boston Braves?
Braves have actually won 4, the only franchise to win a title in three different cities.

1914: Boston
1957: Milwaukee
1995: Atlanta
2021: Atlanta

The Red Sox have 9 titles now so I highly doubt they would have a need to claim one from a completely different franchise.

Looks like Nico is wanting more money a tweet from On3 says we're in negotiating with Nico .😳😳😳
Lord have mercy. Just let his ass walk and let Merklinger be the starter at this point. He didn’t do anything to deserve a raise. If anything, he owes us money. Only 11 touchdowns versus teams not named UTEP or Vanderbilt. GTFO dude.

Supposedly still negotiating from December. AP says "no biggie, Nico isn't going anywhere".
