Trade Wars and Tariffs

The second part of your comment is spot on. It's hilarious some of these guys are trying to spin this as a "normal" market correction

It is normal in that it was overdue. The violent swings are what’s not normal. But I prefer that over tiny daily changes that accumulate over months and quarters. Possibly years.

Don’t ever forget - after the dot com bubble burst it took the NASDAQ about 15 years to get back to even. Usually it’s never close to that time frame.

Did any of this market chaos hit the consumers? I don't follow any tarriff stuff very much nor don't follow markets...being on disability doesn't lend me the ability to do much. But it seems like a lotta panic, what is the lasting impact? Also is it true that the richest 10% own 93% on the stocks???

The peak and bottom both happened within Trump’s short 60 day term. They both apply.
nope, no one was complaining and making an issue of the market until a few days ago....all the left was saying is Trump wrecked the market.

The market over those 'wrecked' days was closer to a correction.

Oh no I’m 100% correct. Trump owns both the peak and bottom over the last 52 week interval. The data absolutely shows that and anything else is cherry picking for convenience

Trump's economic messaging STARTED OFF as:

1) Deregulation
2) Getting to lower inflation and lower rates to spur M & A
3) Promoting M & A as well as IPOs

The markets would have loved all of that and was initially responding based on that. But then Calamity Trump had to jump in and throw a monkey wrench into it with the tariffs. I am not under any illusion that Trump thought them up himself. No way, at least not like this. Expect the likes of Navarro and some others to fade from the scene here in the next 30-60 days as they have lost his trust.

+2650, are those millionaires/billionaires from last week who lost now back to being the bad guys?
Only poor Grandmas with a retirement lost last week. Only millionaires/billionaires made money this week. Thus sayeth the Dems and MSM. You are a racist, xenophobic science denier if ye dare say otherwise.

When UPS drivers are making $150,000 a year, I’m not concerned unless lay offs come into play.
