Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I thought so, too. He’s got to take the chance though because the alternative was what happened.

With the way the refs were blowing their whistle at them, I kinda get why he was scared to touch it lmao. But still yeah, pick it up bud

That helmet camera system that is said to have helped Jayden Daniels so much seems like a great idea for Nico. When I try to imagine it for myself, though, it seems like the first day or two might be a little disorienting. Does live action seem like video on day two or three? Lol. But I imagine the adjustment is very quick.

What I mean is, imagine your phone camera mounted on your head at work. You go home and study it. Then you go back to work. How could you not have thoughts of how the real will be as video? The whole idea is for the experiences to be similar enough that they are interchangeable. Just musing.
And then you speed it up like a podcast until real life feels like slow motion.

Explain the refs bi polar 180 switch. You just can’t lol it’s insane.
What switch?
As is nearly always the case, an aggressive, attacking offense is going to draw more fouls.
Especially when the team with the ball is making good decisions.

That’s what I saw tonight.
Got down and realized they were running out of time and had to step it up.

Should’ve been no surprise, as every game they have come from behind.

I will honestly say that I didn’t watch the second half with kids sleeping. But 4 fouls in one half and 26 in the next is unacceptable. You set the tone early if you want to call it tight. You don’t change that in the second half once you’ve set the standard.
You call a foul if it’s a foul. Sure they missed some.
Florida wasnt doing anything to make Houston foul, then they got real aggressive on offense and had Houston on their heels and Houston couldn’t handle it.

The weirdest call was the Cryer out of bounds, when he wasn’t actually out of bounds when he caught it. But announcer was saying he hadn’t re-established himself from being out of bounds previously????

Like I have never heard that one before.

There’s this series of documentaries where they are able to bring back dinosaurs using frog DNA as a base strand.
It’s amazing how catastrophically bad it went. For some reason, they thought that starting it as an amusement park would sell…🤔
But if we keep it on an island...

Florida deserves zero credit for this game. Period. They deserve credit for a great season overall but I will not give them an ounce of it for this shameful Bs
Fact is UF turned up the pressure on both ends and Houston folded.

The last possession was a disaster, and the previous 3-4 minutes weren’t much better .

They had 2-3 turnovers trying to dribble drive, and completely forgot they had post players.

“You call a foul a foul?” Yes, that’s the issue. You can call a foul on every possession. In the first half, they called 4. In the second, 26.

If they called a foul a foul, then it would be perfectly officiated. It’s far from it and a flawed product. It’s horrendous.

On the last play. Emanuel Sharpe went up for the jump shot and then seen it was going to be blocked. When he dropped the ball on purpose that is considered a pass. He wasnt allowed to retrieve the ball, you can't pass the ball to yourself. It's a traveling violation or a double dribble...

No you can’t!
Passive offense isn’t going to draw fouls.

UF was looking to take 3’s , and occasionally threw it in to a big man, who were undecided as what they were going to do when they got. ( the one big travels 3 times in the first half when he got it).

They attacked the basket and made quick decisions in the second half.

Dumbed down—- they made it easy for Houston early and very difficult late.
Only way you can’t understand this is if you never played.
