This is all I was saying and @TN-POSSUM shaded me.Refs also blew a tighter whistle later in the 2nd half which works against Houston’s physicality advantage.
Yeah the officiating got tighter when Houston got the 12pt lead. This is all I was saying and @TN-POSSUM shaded me.
Maybe so. My eyes showed Houston players (after being up 12) all watchng their one ball handler dive into the teeth of the UF defense time and again while their peers stood there. It was the weirdest pivot when the game got close. It carried into final possession when they got no shot off. No one hates it more than me. UF is my most hated rival by miles.Yeah the officiating got tighter when Houston got the 12pt lead.
Barnes has been competitive and bringing in players the last 5+ years. He’s bringing in solid players. We lose all our production and will be a much worse team next year. Probably low top 25 team to bubble team unless he lands some portal studs. Like the guys we have brought in but we need more than that.
You should sell this story to Facebook. Was settling down for the night around 10 and heard what sounded like a dog yelping somewhere outside. Put on my headlamp and eventually found this guy in the water barely hanging on to a boat lift on my neighbor's dock. I was able to get a rope around his head thanks to a golf club on the dock because I had no chance of reaching him without getting in the lake. Pulled him up onto the lift float and was able to bring him up the rest of the way by his collar. This guy couldn't stand and was shivering. Carried him up to my house, we wrapped him in towels, fed him, and I posted his picture on a boaters group on FB. Social media finally did something good because we got in touch with the owner pretty quick and he was picked up within 30 minutes of me pulling him out of the water. The owner had been looking for him for 6 hours after some storms caused him to run off earlier today while the owner wasn't home.

Always the refs fault for some.It should be, but refs are either too inconsistent apparently to call a game of basketball the right way. UF was dominated when Houston was allowed to play defense. But the problem is they were not allowed anymore.
Always the refs fault for some.
UF got down 12 and got desperate, became the aggressor and drove the ball to the basket and made shots or good passes.
Houston couldn’t handle it, were back on their heels and committed fouls because they got beat and were out of position.
I will honestly say that I didn’t watch the second half with kids sleeping. But 4 fouls in one half and 26 in the next is unacceptable. You set the tone early if you want to call it tight. You don’t change that in the second half once you’ve set the standard.Always the refs fault for some.
