If that is true and it wasn't consensual I'd be on the bandwagon here to fire him. Even if consensual I may still say he ought to be fired for poor judgment, depending on the facts. I just don't know enough facts to justify that conclusion.

Unfortunate as I was hoping Houston would win. They really played uncharacteristically quick on the offensive end in the 2nd half and settled for some bad shots. They built that 12 pt lead and seemed to want to put the nail in the coffin quick and launched some really poor shots.

For a team which showed so much poise against Duke, they got very impatient in the 2nd half. Sampson was going for the win on that last play and should have structured a play going downhill.

For me it started some years ago when I stumbled across the board talking football. Notwithstanding the sea of judgment here of late based on speculation and repeating of summaries of anonymous claims with zero detail, it's usually a fairly decent place for sports talk.

You can say what you want about Golden but the guy is a hell of a coach. He out adjusted and out coached some ridiculously good coaches down the stretch of so many games in this tournament.
