Seems you want an argument where none was intended. My comment noted the NC performance of Fudd, a former number one out of TN which ought to make landing them easier. And I noted the best teams all have elite top five players making continued progress in recruiting the priority. We are trending up but I see that as next step.I don’t know if you’re being genuine or not, but either way you must be talking about the former staff recruiting not the current one. The current one recruiting is what led to a victory over UConn this season.
Fans are still calling for every single player in the transfer portal when we have a #1/#2 HS recruiting class coming in June.
I don’t care what state an elite recruit is from we have 3 McDAAs in addition to 2 Top 50 recruits in 2025.
The elite TN recruit from last season now at Ohio State just got beat at home by Tennessee.
Putting the reality in context.
Well the problem is now we’re going to be 4 titles behind them. I don’t see that gap being made up in my lifetime.I still think Coach Caldwell can close the gap between UConn and Tennessee in championships!
If SC loses this game without making it more competitive I think they will take a few steps back even returning most of their team.
The players in the portal this year aren’t a missing piece to a championship team.
You have to develop the talent on your roster currently and coming from HS.
Sarah Strong is pretty quick for her stature.
